Our History

It all started in December 1998 by Internist & Nephrologist Dimitrios Plakias, MD, PhD. The aim was clear: To create a state-of-the-art facility that would provide quality service for every single patient. Being the very first Dialysis Unit in West Attica, staying true to our mission has been of utmost importance for everyone working in West Athens Clinic.

24 years later and with over 2000 patients having been taken care of in our Dialysis Unit, we “stand” with great pride next to each and every one of them.

The West Athens Clinic Dialysis Center, which is operating in Peristeri -Athens, aims to offer the utmost health services to kidney patients who are undergoing dialysis treatment and reside in the wider area of Athens or travel in Greece, combining holidays with dialysis.
